RC552-GE is Raisecom's latest revised modular 10/100/1000Mbps OAM media converter with 1:1 uplink protection. The media converter is equiped with a 10/100/1000Mbps auto-negotiation UTP interface at client side and two SFP-based fiber interfaces at line side. The two uplink is able to work in a 1:1 protected way that the traffi will be switch to the secondary line for transmission whenever the primary line is broken down.

RC552-GE can either be deployed in a pair or connected directly to an aggregation switch with fier ports. IEEE802.3ah OAM makes the media converter be easily monitored and managed. The media converter works in Raisecom RC001/002 series chassis. With SNMP agent card in the chassis, a pair of RC552-GE(Rev.D) can be monitored and network managed on the GUI of Raisecom's NView NNM system. RC552-GE(Rev.D) can also be assigned with an indenpendent IP address for web-based management, which provides a easier way for the users to log in the media converter locally or remotely for monitoring, confiuration change and fault removing.

Features
	RC552-GE (D) can save and forward Ethernet service speeds at 10/100/1000M.
	Bandwidth can be configured, on electrical interface Tx bandwidth and Rx bandwidth can be configured separately, with granularity 128K.
	Flexible troubleshooting, providing fault pass between optical interface and the Ethernet electric port as well as ALS.
	Use SFP optical module; in support of digital diagnostic function, dual-optical ports 1:1 protection to realize fault-pass; hot-swapping is available and service modules with different distance and wavelength to meet different needs.
	802.1Q VLAN, up to 16 VLAN groups.
	QOS, 802.1p priority Remark, add or replace 802.p priority that enters Ethernet packet in accordance with port setting.
	Support Q-in-Q function and can be set to Double Tag and Double Tag TPID.
	In support of basic 802.3ah OAM functionality, SLAVE mode support: OAM discovery, MIB variable response, OAM Loopback, Dying Gasp alarm; MASTER mode support: OAM discovery, OAM Loopback, Remote Dying Gasp alarm instructions; extend custom OAM remote management features, enabling remote device management.

	RC552-GE (D) there are two kinds of Master and Slave work, central office equipment for the Master, the remote device is Slave, can be set by DIP. RC002 centralized network management can view the CO/remote information and status, configure CO/remote operation.
	In support of local Web management, online firmware upgrades can be realized.
	Console port command-line can query device version and MAC, query and set IP, IP mask and Gateway.
